Who we are

The Satyagraha Foundation’s mission is to support the personal development of marginalized youth by equipping them with the tools and perspectives they need to navigate the world with a greater sense of well-being.

Our primary focus is on creating and distributing educational resources that strengthen emotional resilience, compassion, self-respect and soft skills that are essential to positive outcomes.

The Foundation's first major initiative was the creation of a general curriculum, titled Fast Forward, that offers young people the vital tools and perspectives they need to thrive in the world. The Foundation has partnered with organizations that have an established audience of at-risk youth, and we are currently expanding our distribution network.

The Foundation’s second program focus is developing and distributing resources to address the unique issues faced by young adults of marginalized identities. Resources deal with navigating bullying, confronting intolerance and prejudice, and cultivating pride in self. These issues are overlooked by traditional education - by proactively addressing them, we aim to empower young people to overcome social challenges and develop a sense of agency.
